Included with Apple computers, iTunes is
also available for Windows based PCs as well. It has
some nice features, such as the album art browser shown
here.
On Windows PCs, it can be a somewhat
resource hog. We also recommend switching the default
ripping format to MP3.
Even if you
don't have a Zune player, this free software makes a
wonderful addition for playing and organizing your MP3
or Windows Media music collection.
Has some very
cool player effects and visualizations as well.
MP3 Collector
has been around for quite some time, and is a nice, easy
to use program for cataloging your MP3 files.
You can even
use it to catalog your audio CDs and DVDs, so you have a
nice list of songs that you can browse through, and
immediately know which CD to pull.
